I think this makes a lot of sense for CPA licensure in Maryland:
As an alternative to the additional 30 hours of formal education (on top of the always required accounting bachelor’s degree), CPA candidates can instead use two years or 4,000 hours of qualifying professional experience.
Seems very reasonable (and perhaps the second option is realistically even better for the profession).
